CVP Diagnostics is a privately held medical device company dedicated to improving the control of heart failure. After more than a decade of scientific research, technology development, and clinical studies, the Company is about to commercialize the VeriCor® monitor and bring hemodynamic monitoring into the community.

The VeriCor® monitor, which recently received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. FDA, is a breakthrough technology that measures left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP) non-invasively. LVEDP represents the filling pressure of the heart and is the primary hemodynamic parameter for the recognition and management of heart failure.

Heart failure is the only major cardiovascular disease on the rise. It affects 5 million Americans, has a mortality rate of 50% in 5-years and costs nearly $38 billion a year. Approximately 500,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the United States and 60 million individuals are at increased risk. Despite advances in treatment, the number of heart failure hospitalizations has risen to over 1 million hospitalizations each year in the U.S.

The VeriCor® monitor is about to be commercialized and has the potential to revolutionize the treatment of heart failure, significantly improve the lives of thousands of heart failure patients while saving billions of dollars a year.
